Glasgow based events company – Winner Stays On – provides retro gaming events around Scotland. The founder of the company approached me to create a unique brand identity and promotional materials to help them stand out in the events space.
Using the aesthetic of arcades and retro gaming promotional artwork, I created a brand language in the style of neon light signs and late 80’s to early 90’s inspired typography.
The logo mark also acts as an attractive symbol that can be used in merchandising allowing new revenue streams to be created to support the company.
To highlight the type of gaming experience offered I conducted a photoshoot using their inventory of 80’s and 90’s gaming technology. These were then used in organic and paid for social media posts.
There was 5 sold out events run after the branding and social media created were created, largely driven by the tickets sold via the social media content I created.
The company saw a 20% increase in profits from each event thanks to the new merchandise that could be sold using the branding.
